Istanbul hosts the third Turkish-Arab Art Forum titled "Windows of Hope"

The Turkish city of Istanbul hosted the third Turkish-Arab Art Forum titled "Windows of Hope," held at the Cultural and Arts Center Hall of Taksim Mosque, featuring artworks by about 75 Arab and Turkish artists.

The exhibition began on Saturday and concluded on Sunday at the Cultural and Arts Center Hall of Taksim Mosque, organized under the supervision of the Turkish-Arab Art House, the Turkish-Arab Association, the Arab House for Culture and Arts, and the Taksim Mosque Foundation.

The exhibition showcases works ranging from calligraphy to ceramics and oil painting, with artists participating from various Arab countries including Palestine, Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Algeria, and Morocco, in addition to Turkish participation.

The visual artist Salam Muaz, director of the Arab and Turkish Art House, stated in press remarks, "The Turkish-Arab Art Forum exhibition under the name 'Windows of Hope' is the third international exhibition at the Arts Center of Taksim Mosque."

She explained, "Almost every year, we have two international exhibitions at the Art House, and this is the third one. About 75 visual artists from all Arab communities participated in the exhibition, in addition to a group of Turks."

"We had a group of artists from Tunisia participating, and from Palestine, the 'Icon of Jerusalem,' which is a group from Jerusalem, participated and exhibited about 16 works over the course of nearly two consecutive years," she added.

"We have calligraphy, ceramics, mosaics, and oil painting in the exhibition," she continued.

Regarding the objectives of the exhibition, she said, "Our goal is to achieve integration between Arabs and Turks under one umbrella. We always try to bring together Arab and Turkish artists under the name of the Turkish-Arab Art House."

She concluded by saying, "There can't be a feeling of difference between Arabs and Turks... on the contrary, they are completely happy and in complete harmony."
