
"Major Roads to Be Closed in Istanbul for the "20th Istanbul International Marathon
The Istanbul Municipality announced that the 20th edition of the Istanbul International Marathon will take place this Sunday, and several main roads will be closed to traffic from 4:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
According to the statement, roads in Fatih and Beyoğlu will be closed on April 27 due to the event. About 18,000 runners are expected to join in the 10K and 21K races.
There will also be temporary changes to public transportation. For example:

The T1 tram line (Kabataş – Bağcılar) will only run between Sirkeci and Bağcılar from 7:00 AM to 1:30 PM.

Bus users can check the “Otobüsüm Nerede?” app to see real-time updates on bus routes during the closure.
