Massive March in Istanbul in Support of Gaza
A massive march took place in Istanbul, Türkiye, organized by the "Palestine Initiative" in support of the Palestinian struggle in the Gaza Strip.
The march began at the Fatih Mosque and moved towards the Seraçhane Park in Istanbul. A large number of Turks gathered in the courtyard of the Fatih Mosque after the Maghrib prayer, waving Türkiye and Palestinian flags. They held banners reading: "Killer Israel, leave Palestine," "From Istanbul to Gaza, a thousand greetings for victory," and "Hypocritical Europe, democracy is a lie."
Protesters chanted slogans such as: "From the river to the sea... Palestine is free," "Greetings to Hamas, the resistance continues," and "Every place is Gaza, every place is resistance."
At the end of the march, the crowd performed a prayer of thanksgiving following the ceasefire between the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and the occupying state.
The brutal Israeli aggression, which lasted for 15 months against the Gaza Strip, resulted in the martyrdom of more than 47,035 Palestinians and left 11,091 others injured.
