Istanbul in White: Schools Closed Tomorrow Due to Snowfall
Snowfall covered the city of Istanbul on Tuesday, starting in the higher areas of the city the previous night. The snowfall then spread to the entire city in the morning hours.
The snow covered the roads, particularly in neighborhoods on the European side of the city. Citizens faced difficulty driving on their way to work, schools, and universities due to the snow.
Some vehicles slipped on certain roads, and others were blocked due to snow accumulation. Motorcycle riders also had difficulty moving on snow-covered roads.
It is expected that the snowfall will continue intermittently in some areas of Istanbul since the morning.
