
Gaziantep renewed the carpets of the Umayyad Mosque in Syria for the first Tarawih
The Turkish municipality of Gaziantep has announced that the Umayyad Mosque carpets in Damascus will be renewed for free by carpenters from the city, in preparation for the first Tarawih prayer in which it is performed.
The mayor of the municipality, "Fatima Shaheen", said in statements on her account on social media that the Umayyad Mosque carpets will be brushed for free by Najin from Gaziantep and will be ready for the first Tarwih prayer in the month of Ramadan.
Fatima Shaheen said: “Last week, you knew that we, like the municipality of Gaziantep. Where the carpets from Gaziantep sponsored at the full cost to renew the Umayyad Mosque carpets.
She added: "We, the municipality of Gaziantep, went and started work.
Türkiye had previously announced that it would play an effective role in health services, electricity infrastructure and infrastructure services in Syria. The Umayyad Mosque carpets were added to these services.
