Sabanci University Scholarship

The Sabancı University Scholarship is a competitive academic scholarship offered by Sabancı University, a leading private institution in Türkiye.

It is available for international students at the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels.

The scholarship aims to support outstanding international students and provide them with the opportunity to study in one of Türkiye’s most prestigious research universities.

The scholarship is open to all nationalities, including Arab students.

Admission Requirements

  • The applicant must be an international student (non-Turkish citizen)

  • Completion of the required previous academic level (e.g., high school for bachelor’s, bachelor’s for master’s, etc.)

  • Proof of English proficiency (TOEFL/IELTS or an accepted equivalent)

  • A strong academic record

  • Submission of a motivation letter

  • At least two letters of recommendation

  • In some cases, an interview or academic evaluation may be required

What Is a Strong Academic Record?

A strong academic record refers to:

  • High grades or GPA in the most recent level of study

  • Participation in academic or scientific projects

  • Honors, awards, or certificates of achievement

  • High performance in advanced or challenging courses

What Is a Letter of Recommendation?

A letter of recommendation is a formal document written by a teacher, professor, or academic supervisor. It highlights the student’s academic abilities, character, work ethic, and readiness for higher education. Two recommendation letters are usually required and must be submitted as part of the application or directly by the referees via email.

  • Two Letters of Recommendation

  • English proficiency certificate (e.g., TOEFL or IELTS)
